Art books

Waanders Publishing, established in 1836, is the largest publisher of art books in the Netherlands. Many of the publications appear in collaboration with museums in the Netherlands and abroad. Such museums include The Mauritshuis, The Gemeentemuseum in Den Haag, The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, The Kunsthal in Rotterdam, The National Gallery of Art in Washington, The National Gallery in London, and many others.

Monuments and history

In addition to art books, Waanders publishes books on the subjects of monuments and architectural history in collaboration with, among others, The National Service for Archaeology, Cultural Landscape and Built Heritage (formerly the Netherlands Department for Conservation in Zeist), and books on various subjects from Dutch history, and on the history of towns and regions in the Netherlands.
